Yoko Akama

Yoko is a Senior Lecturer in Communication Design at RMIT University. Tao (the path) of her research and design practice centres on values of participation, empathy and empowerment, which she has pursued over 15 years in various locations including London and Melbourne. And, yes, she is Japanese but no, she wasn’t named after the infamous woman long accused of splitting up The Beatles…
