Don't forget that tonight in Sydney, @ausinfront is having its VR06 exhibition and website relaunch - http://t.co/cNq5zaIA
While Desktop is certainly of the camp that suspects the newly-minted trailer for the homegrown highschool-formal-from-hell horror The Loved Ones might pack too many deliriously demented narrative spoilers into its fleet two minute run-time for its own good, we just as surely can’t recommend abstaining from viewing the thing. Really. If you’re at all anticipating writer/director Sean Byrne’s debut – or especially if you’re unfamiliar with it – you need to know just how cartwheelingly bugscrew crazy this sucker promises to be. Think Carrie meets Misery at Sweet Valley High with a distinctly antipodean kink. (Or, alternatively, take our word that this is one date you’ll want to be keeping and save the surprises for the cinema.)
Can’t wait? We didn’t think so. See for yourself thanks to Madman:
Additionally, the film’s first poster has also been freshly unveiled;

The Loved Ones releases September 30th. Have those corsages ready.

can’t wait!
I do like the look of this. I hope its gooooood!!
I can’t watch… but I can’t look away!
THIS LOOKS GREAT! it’s like ‘saw’ meets ‘high school musical’, without the musical. i don’t know if i’m brave enough to watch it though. i watched most of ‘saw’ behind a pillow
