RT @hellobrendan: Rodchenko 120 poster exhibition, now on at Melbourne Museum as part of @agIdeas - http://t.co/iKw1z1ZI
Stumbling on his English, madly gesticulating at the projector behind him while explaining the briefs and silly stories behind some of his incredible design projects, ensured that Andreas Uebele’s talk at agideas 2010 in Melbourne was entertaining, and entirely memorable.
The German designer is the founder and director of the successful and award-winning visual communications agency, Buro Uebele, in Stuttgart, Germany who mainly focus on visual identity, signage and corporate communications.
Uebele and his team mostly produce signs and designs for huge corporations such as universities and large businesses, with an end result that is so logical, effective and at times effortlessly wry, that you’ll wish that you could have thought of it.
Do drop by their website, as they have loads of images for each project, as well as handy explanations for the concept behind each design.
PS Make sure that you choose the English site, unless you are fluent in German. Ja?
