The Hola Mexico Film Festival has left Los Angeles to travel to four cities around Australia during October and November.

The festival includes 11 feature films, five documentaries and one double header and will move from Melbourne (19 – 28 October at ACMI Cinemas) to Sydney (26 October – 4 November at Event Cinemas George Street) to Adelaide (9 November – 14 November at Mercury Cinemas) to Perth (15 November – 21 November at Cinema Paradiso).

Opening night will begin with a special screening of Mariachi Gringo, an upbeat film featuring music by famous mariachi singer Lila Downs. There’s also an opening night fiesta for all the festival venues (tickets are available for opening night for $49).

The festival opens in Sydney this Thursday night (25 October) and we have three double passes to give away to the screening and fiesta.
