We’re pleased to announce the shortlisted entries in four categories of 2012 Qantm Create Design Awards (presented by desktop magazine).

The list has been published both online and in print – on the Qantm Create Design Awards website and in the July issue of desktop magazine. The categories are Identity/Branding, Illustration, Packaging and Typography. The remaining eight categories will be announced in the August and September issues of desktop (four categories announced per issue).

July issue of desktop magazine: Identity/Branding, Illustration, Packaging, Typography shortlisted announced. On sale 4 July 2012.

August issue of desktop magazine: Catalogue, Photography, Print Commercial and Website shortlisted announced. On sale 1 August 2012.

September issue of desktop magazine: Emerging Talent, Interactive, Motion, Print Creative shortlisted announced. On sale 5 September 2012.

Winners are determined by a panel of some of Australia’s most prominent and respected industry figures (see the judging panel here), and will be announced at the prestigious 600+ people Gala Awards Night in Melbourne in October 2012. In addition, winning projects and designers will be published online and profiled in a special Qantm Create Design Awards edition of desktop.
