Previously only available to the employees at Frost Design, the studio has decided to open its long-running deFrost talk series to the public.
The series is curated by CEO and founder, Vince Frost, and regularly features leading local and international industry thinkers, speaking to a 50-person audience at Frost’s Surry Hills studio. Recent speakers have included Droga5’s Sudeep Gohill, typographer and environments designer and Golnar Roshan and Christian Hogue from animation and effects studio, Lost in Space.
“We are all here to inspire and be inspired,” said Vince Frost. “Our main product is ideas that are realised through design. We set out to make a positive difference to people’s lives and the world. This is a vision that should be shared and I want to involve others who are interested in the power of design and ideas to achieve these things.”
The next deFrost* talk will be held 6pm on Thursday 5 July, and will feature David Stevenson and Thierry Lacoste from architecture and urban design practice, Lacoste + Stevenson. To be considered for a seat at the event, send an email with ‘deFrost’ in the subject line to info@frostdesign.com.au, with your name, contact details and a few sentences outlining your interest in the event (by 4 July). Numbers are limited.
