Melbourne’s Gertrude Association is once again calling for aspiring lighting designers to submit proposals for its July 2012 street projection festival.

The call is open to projection artists, filmmakers, designers and students who have an innovative idea for a lighting projection which follows the theme of ‘element’.

The festival has grown over the past three years, from just eight sites in 2008, to  30 sites in 2011 (plus eight site specific projections in 2011).

If you’re interested, first read the crucial ‘things to consider’ page – the proposal can either be for a site specific moving image or still projection installation.

Submissions close 5pm Friday 4 November.
