Herman Miller’s touring poster exhibition, ‘Then x Ten – The Power of the Poster’ is in Melbourne until 25 August, before it journeys into Asia.
Featuring artwork from the Herman Miller archives, as well as ten new commissions, the exhibition is a celebration of the iconic posters that were initially created to promote the furniture company’s products over the years.
‘Then x Ten’ is curated by Herman Miller’s creative director (of 42 years), Steve Frykholm who had the task of selecting just ten posters from the archives to feature. Along with Frykholm’s work the exhibition contains work by Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, Armin Hofman, John Massey, Linda Powell and George Tscherny.
