Want to check out all the action at this years L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) but not sure if tweed taffeta is in or out this season? Fear not – you can now get involved from the comfort of your own home.
The team at LMFF have just announced their online offering for this years festival and they seem to have pretty much everything covered. The website has been tweaked to include more engaging content like designer bio’s and LMFF TV which gives you a peak into the world of model castings, hair and make-up trials and the latest runway footage.
“Those attending LMFF events always enjoy a magical experience. In 2010 we have upped the ante by creating a unique online offer that reflects this experience but in new ways,” says Festival Director Karen Webster.
Also on offer is an iPhone app, which includes the entire festival program, daily updated galleries straight from the runways and a clever feature that allows you to find your nearest fashion stockists via Google maps and let GPS lead you straight there.
P.S. FYI – tweed taffeta is so out this season.

Great work LMFF! Great to see someone thinking holistically about their online offering.
