Online daily t-shirt design project, Made In The Now (MITN) is going weekly. After managing to create a new t-shirt design (in response to a current news event) every 24 hours for the past year, the studio has decided to take the project to the next level by going weekly.
The extra time will give the public more say on each news story chosen, give the designer more space and time to create their design and provide more time to make a purchase.
The weekly designs have already begun with Steven Rhodes in week one responding to the HIV-prevention drug Truvada being approved by U.S. health regulators for the very first time, followed by Audrey Green’s illustration of the artificial jellyfish created from heart cells, an Olympic tee designed by Matt Chase, while last week Julia Schrieber celebrated NASA’s Curiosity rover successfully landing on Mars.
