The British Council is calling on creatives to enter its Realise Your Dream programme to win one of five UK scholarships worth $8,000 each.
The call is open to all creatives (with no age restriction) including those involved in visual arts, fashion, design, advertising, architecture, music, animation, digital media and computer games, to further develop their skills through a professional development programme in the UK. The $8,000 prize covers expenses, return airfares, a personally tailored itinerary of meetings, placement and mentoring with industry leaders.
British Council director, Nick Marchand says of the programme, “Last year, more than 600 Australians applied. In 2011, we are seeking applicants from an even more diverse range of communities, to build connections that enrich and refresh the creative connections between Australia and the UK.”
Applications close 4 July. Head to realiseyourdream.org.au for more information.
