The winners in the British Council’s Realise Your Dream campaign have been announced. The competition aims to award applicants who show innovation and leadership in their field, can demonstrate their creative potential, and have a clear vision for their practice and for how it will benefit from a professional development trip to the UK.

From a pool of over 650 applications from around Australia, three winners were selected. Each receives a return trip to the UK, $10,000 spending money, and the opportunity to work alongside their creative mentors. The winners are:

• Jolie Hertzberg – a festival director and artistic producer from the Gold Coast, QLD,
• Emma Swift – a radio announcer and producer from Newtown, NSW, and
• Kate Just  – a visual artist from St Kilda, VIC.
