Susan Boyle falls off perch

It had to happen sooner or later, and we are sad to announce that it happened a little later than we were probably hoping (no hard feelings SuBo).

Having topped the Triple J Hottest 100 a few weeks ago with their single Little Lion Man and rocking the socks off the crowds at the Laneway festival, London based outfit Mumford & Sons have pushed Boyle off the top of the ARIA charts, taking out the #1 album slot this week.

Currently in the US to play The Late Show with David Letterman and with sold out shows in the US and UK over the next few months, the band are set to have a pretty crazy year ahead of them.

Mumford & Sons debut album Sigh No More is out now through Gentlemen of the Road/Dew Process.

  1. Susan Boyle is an exceptionally talented lady who’s been subjected to considerable ridicule in the media. IMHO she deserves every bit of success that she is having.
