Triple J is searching for street artists

Triple J is searching for an emerging street artist to be involved in the upcoming street art festival, Outpost Project.

Outpost Project, held on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island, is billed as the largest street arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere and will showcase work from over 100 street artists including Banksy, Kid Zoom, Anthony Lister, Numskull, Mini Graff and Ha Ha.

If you’re interested in being involved, you need to send an example of your work to Triple J before the end of next week – all styles are welcome including spray paint, stencilling, paste ups and stickers. The winner’s work will be displayed at the festival, plus they will be flown to Sydney for the opening of the festival.

For more information, check out the submission details and prize pack here. Entries close at midnight AEST 30 October 2011.

The festival takes place over five weeks from 4 November to 11 December.
