Enantone Storybook

STUDIO:  Electric Art
DESIGNER(S):  Electric Art - creative director: Grant Foster; art director: John Scott; agency producer: Paul Whitehead
CLIENT:  Ward 6

The guys at Ward 6 handed us this beautiful brief and had a very good idea of what they wanted to achieve visually. They were after two images which needed to resemble realistic and intricately handmade paper models. The visuals required contrasting moods, happy and sad, to reflect possible outcomes for sufferers of endometriosis. The first step involved creating the girl and paper cut outs entirely in 3D, these determined our lighting conditions and we shot the book and table to match and blended them together in retouching. One of the greatest challenges lay in preparing the visuals to work in three different languages. We found a system of 3D modelling realistic paper models where the text could be changed to suit the relevant language. Lovely!
