The Head On Photo Festival is the world’s second largest photography festival with over 200 events at 100 venues. Building on the existing identity, and working with an array of outstanding photography, Messy concepted and designed the outdoor and print campaign for the festival. Messy’s idea was inspired by the angles and lines commonly found in refraction diagrams. These lines form dynamic geometric shapes that meet ‘head on’ at a point.
The banners appeared across Sydney, from the CBD to Bondi beach, taking awareness of the festival to the next level.
