Following the rebrand of the Taronga Conservation Society Australia (TCSA), Hulsbosch – Communication by Design will produce the TCSA’s annual reports for the next three years.
Tabled in the NSW Parliament in November, the TCSA’s 2010-11 annual report not only shows the role that the TCSA plays in connecting people with animals but gives a full account of the organisation’s activities “beyond the boundaries” of its Sydney and Dubbo locations.
The 84-page document’s design makes use of bold imagery of the Zoos’ animals and decicated TCSA staff and researchers. The concept visually expresses TCSA’s reach beyond the boundaries. This is represented through geographic reach and graphic expressions of connectivity, presented through a series of case studies. These weave through the document as splash pages, including research in Antarctica and the Kosciuszko National Park.
