Ugandan designer Lincoln Kayiwa has been designing beautiful, minimalist, functional pieces for quite some time now. His background is in design and architecture, and he graduated with a Master of Arts from the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.

Through his company, KAYIWA, the AAKKOSET shelf was born. It comes in a variety of colours – red, green, orange, yellow, blue, violet, black and white – to suit any mood, and can be used either empty as a room divider, or filled to the brim with books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and knick knacks.

The AAKKOSET shelf proves there’s more to storage than boxes, and standing at 185 centimetres tall and 168 centimetres across, you’re not going to be short of shelving space!
