There are a few Converse sneaker collaborations which probably wouldn’t go down too well (Martha Stewart ft. Converse? Enrique Iglesias ft. Converse?), but here’s one that just makes sense.
Designer and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, has worked with Converse to design a few exclusive prints, which incorporate elements from the band’s distinctive album artwork, to be featured on a limited edition range of sneakers. There are four different looks but the entire range will only be revealed on 10 March 2012. At the moment, only the signature design for the collection has been released – a military inspired camouflage print, taken from the cover of their self-titled debut.
The shoes will be available GLUE STORES and online at converse.com.au from 10 March 2012.
