Nice work desktop subscription winners! #agideas
Day 10 of desktop’s ’12 Days of Christmas’ competition.
Some people are naturally gifted when it comes to the art of wrapping presents. Perfectly pressed corners, ribbon bouquets, invisible sticky tape. Wrapping presents is a highly covetable skill, one which Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich has excelled at.
Since moving to Tokyo last year and concurrently through her blog, she runs gift wrapping workshops and tutorials. She has just co-authored Kawaii Wrapping Materials Book, written and designed the Hello Sandwich Gift Wrapping Zine and even has her own line of wrapping paper.
This Christmas there is no excuse not to wrap those gifts if you follow the Hello Sandwhich doctrine and if all else fails, just plaster them with MT tape.
“But what’s the point of having wrapping paper if I have nothing to put in it?” you’re thinking.
We’ve got the answer: the humble tote bag. Sure it’s no Balenciaga handbag, but its understated design proves to be the most worthy and user friendly day-to-day companion. And the folks over at The Design Kids know how to make them right.
The Kids Are Taking Over tote bags come in a natural base and a black base and are perfect for lugging around your heavy duty staples.
The Design Kids provides a platform for Australian design graduates, working graphic designers and practicing artists to design one off/limited edition pieces.
Thanks to ours friends at Hello Sandwich and The Design Kids we have a double giveaway today for two lucky desktop readers. Each winner will receive ‘It’s Dots’ wrapping paper from Hello Sandwich and ‘The Kids Are Taking Over’ tote bag from The Design Kids. For your ch ance to win leave a comment below before midnight 14 December 2011 AEST.*
*Only open to residents in Australia.
