Day 2 of desktop’s ’12 Days of Christmas’ competition.
Pip Lincolne has become a household name where craft is concerned, introducing a new generation to crochet, patchwork and sewing. She is the singular voice behind her popular blog Meet Me At Mikes, has appeared on the daytime television, is the craft contributor to Frankie and the author of three very crafty books.
Her latest, Make Hey! While the Sun Shines, includes 20 crafty things you can make, with easy to digest step-by-step instructions and patterns. Pip explains how to make make wall hangings, bicycle seat covers, tote bags, customise porcelain and crochet Christmas baubles. Even a novice sewer will become a Janome pro after reading her book!
Thanks to our friends at Hardie Grant we have one copy of Make Hey! While the Sun Shines to give away. For your chance to win leave a comment below before midnight 2 December 2011 AEST.

Pip’s first two books are fabulous – I’ve just been cutting out patterns from them. I can’t wait to read this one too.
Happy Christmas, and thanks for running the competition.
Please make my Christmas something to look forward to…I am too old for Santa so I have to resort to competition giveaways to make me feel young again
Hey Hey Hey
Let’s get crafty.
They say you work to live so don’t live for work.
Well I work to craft: as I can’t draw, sing or sculpt but I can sew, knit and crochet!
It’s time to learn another craft…so let me get crafting or is that getting crafty!
