Renowned Dutch designer, Piet Hein Eek who is perhaps best known for his intricately constructed and environmentally friendly scrap wood furniture was commissioned to design a recording studio for Dutch musicologist and comedian, Hans Liberg.
The result is marvelously minimalist.
Drawing significant influence from his work with reclaimed wood, the textured, camouflaged studio hideaway is located Hilversum, The Netherlands. The exterior consists of layered logs that adorn a plastic and steel frame. The interior contrasts dramatically with a tranquil, pastel blue colour scheme.
