To celebrate the release of the October issue of Desktop, our friend Ron Radge has made an exclusive mix on the issue’s theme of Sea Change.

If you’ve never heard Radge DJ in Sydney, or downloaded one of his mixes for the likes of Modular and Ksubi – you’re in for a real treat. In addition to creating outstanding mixes, Radge is also a designer and art director, whose clients include Romance Was Born, Terese Rawsthorne, Parklife, and Catcall.

There was a touch of serendipity to this particular mix, as Radge is currently experiencing a bit of a “sea change” himself. After leaving Sydney recently, he has spent the better part of the last month in Thailand. He’ll be off to the USA this month, followed by an extended stay in London after that. The music featured in this mix is based on some of the music Radge has been listening to on his travels, and provides something of a representation of his moods throughout the international move.

We hope you enjoy this first entry in our series of Desktop mixes. Take a listen below, or head over to our Mixcloud page. Be sure to join us again for next month’s mix too.
