Watch Dave Foster & Chris Doyle, Live at The Distillery

Earlier this year, boutique printer The Distillery in Sydney held their first live event as part of a tri-monthly schedule that will continue to feature speakers and musicians. Curated by Distillery founder Nathan Leong, the event series are described as a “chance for fellow designers to meet and celebrate design, ideas and performance”.

The first event (which was held in March) saw Sydney-born designer and NSW Travelling Scholarship winneer Dave Foster take to the stage to speak about his recent experiences in The Netherlands, where he studied typography at the Royal Academy of Art.

Also featued on the night was Sydney-based designer Christopher Doyle, who was there not to talk about his internationally recognised work, but to play a few songs with his band Actual Mountains.

This session of Live at The Distillery attracted an audience of around 100 guests, but if you weren’t able to get up to Sydney to be there yourself, you can watch both Dave Foster’s talk and Christopher Doyle’s set below.
