Announcing the 2013 Create Design Awards Judges

With less than a month left in the open call for entries, we are very pleased to announce three of Australia’s most prestigious designers as the judges for the 2013 Create Design Awards.

Previous Create award winners Mark Gowing (Sydney) and David Lancashire (Melbourne) will be joined by multi-award winning designer Jenny Grigg (Melbourne) to select the best Australian graphic design, photography, web, interactive, and motion projects from the past year.

These judges have been selected for their outstanding work, their senior position in the industry, and their deep understanding of Australian design culture.

We are honoured to have these three judges join us in 2013. This year we have elected to have a focused and streamlined jury panel, and the three judges selected not only share decades of wisdom and experience, but they are all practicing designers with critical outlooks and strong ties to the industry.

Judging will commence in late June, with shortlistings to be published in Desktop throughout August, September, and October, followed by the announcement of winners at an awards night on the 1st of November. This years awards night will be held at the The Ivy in Sydney, marking the first time that the Create Awards will have been held outside of Melbourne.
