Art & About Sydney – EOI

If you’d like to be a part of Art & About Sydney 2013, City of Sydney is inviting expressions of interest from artists, curators, cultural organisations and creative teams. A range of multidisciplinary arts projects and installations from $10,000 up to a value of $80,000 will be considered.

The program will run for a month during 2013 from 20 September to 20 October. Described as a “celebration of public art,” Art & About Sydney involves art installations, performances and exhibitions on the streets of Sydney and throughout varying public spaces. 2012′s program highlights include ‘The Great Crate’ living installation (by Plus One, Telly Theodore & Associates, architect Andy Macdonald and curator Danella Bennet), mobile installation ‘Friendly Billboards’ (by Jasper Knight and Isabelle Toland) and ‘Emergence’ light installation (by Craig Walsh and the Australian Museum).
