Buzzfeed, Google, Vice creatives head Down Under for REMIX

From 8 – 9 May, Carriageworks, Sydney will be host to creative industry leaders and specialists there to attend the 2014 REMIX Global Summit. Together they will be appearing in front of audiences to discuss the intersections between culture, technology and entrepreneurship and explore new ideas that will potentially shape the future of cultural and creative industries. The presentations and talks will analyse the building blocks of the world’s leading creative cities.

There will be around 75 speakers who represent the new breed of creative entrepreneurs as a result of emerging technologies and the changing consumer landscape. This year’s speakers list comprises many reputed names including: Tom Uglow, Director, Creative Labs, Google; Louise Herron, CEO, Sydney Opera House; Simon Crerar, Editor Buzzfeed; Leigh Carmichael, Creative Director, Dark Mofo, MONA; and Alex Light, Head of Content, Vice.

The previous editions of REMIX summits have taken place in other leading global cities such as, London, New York, Dubai and Hong Kong.

REMIX is the result of the collaboration between the founders of CultureLabel.com and The Guardian, Bloomberg and Google.
