Cannes Lions 2012 – entries open

Entries across all 15 categories are now being accepted for the The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2012. This year will also introduce a new category, Branded Content & Entertainment Lions, to the permanent fixture, awarded to the brand which best demonstrates the successful implementation, contribution and creation of either original content or programming to their respective audience. Other categories include Film, Press, Outdoor, Direct, Media, Cyber, Radio, Promo & Activation, Titanium & Integrated, Design, PR, Film Craft, Creative Effectiveness and Mobile.

This year the festival will run from 17 – 23 June 2012, where the Cannes Lions jury will judge and award each category. Entries are due by 9 March 2012, with an earlier deadline for Creative Effectiveness Lions category due 17 February 2012.
