Celebrating paper – The A4 Paper Festival

Presented by The Paper Convention Collective, preparations for the A4 Paper Festival are currently underway. The festival aims to be an exploration and celebration of paper.

The festival hits Sydney from 31 May to 5 June and will present attendees with workshops, exhibitions and lectures about contemporary developments in the paper industry. 12 local and international paper-artists have been invited to showcase their work including – Yoshinobu Miyamoto (JAP), Hattie Newman (UK), Benja Harney (AUS), Jesse Brown (US), Emma van Leest (AUS), Anna Gleeson (HK) Trial+Error (AUS), Matthew Roland Bannister (AUS), Bianca Chang (AUS), plus more to be announced.

The week-long festival takes place at The Paper Mill, with smaller events being held at the Object Gallery and the University of Sydney (Design and Architecture building).

    As a printer its so good that folks are doing what they can to promote the resurgence of print.
