Together with Vivid Ideas 2014 and Questusdesktop magazine presents a free screening of The Naked Brand at Evenings at The Lounge, at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Sydney.

To be held on the 31st May at 8:30pm, this strictly limited, intimate screening will be introduced by desktop editor Bonnie Abbott and Jason Little, creative director of the highly awarded and innovative advertising and brand agency RE:.

The documentary, from producer Jeff Rosenblum, is an investigative look into the future of brands — The Naked Brand strips back old layers of advertising and presents a very different future. Through technology and social media, today’s consumers are savvier and more informed in their consumption habits, threatening the advertising models used for decades. In order to survive, companies and marketers are addressing this newly empowered audience by attempting to create transparent and positive stories about their products — but it’s a difficult journey for some. As designers, we are at the forefront of these changes.

This entertaining, well-informed Questus documentary is both a warning to slow-moving brands, and exciting for companies and designers who are embracing the future. Be informed about the challenges and changes facing big and small business, they might be your client!

Tickets are free with RSVP, but strictly limited to 50 seats. Get in quick, Sydney!
