Craft – exhibition applications

Melbourne’s non-for-profit member-based organisation Craft, has opened up its doors for applications for exhibitions for the first half of 2014 (yes 2014!).

Each year Craft accepts exhibition proposals from local, interstate and overseas professionals, collectives and curators. Craft is interested in hearing from independent curators with research interests across the craft and design disciplines. Artists engaged in part-time or full-time study are eligible to apply (as long as the proposed exhibition is not the basis of a final assessment).

Craft advises that its a prerequisite to meet with the curator before submitting an application. Meetings must be booked a week in advance and interstate proposals can be arranged to be discussed over the phone. For more information about applications, head to Craft’s website or contact Gallery Curator Debbie Pryor on 03 9650 7775 or dpryor@craft.org.au.

The deadline for applications is 5pm Thursday 28 March 2013.
