CreativeMornings – Sydney

The first CreativeMornings event in Australia is finally here. Now in over 20 cities around the world, it’s a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types – each event is free and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee. The first Australian event will be held in Sydney this Friday 4 May 2012.

CreativeMornings was started by New York-based Tina Roth Eisenberg (SwissMiss) in September of 2009 out of the desire to create a casual, accessible event. Think of it as a local morning mini-conference and inspirational community boost before work. Nothing fancy, just good people and a great talk (not to mention breakfast). “We believe that we spend way too much time communicating virtually. It’s time we meet up in real life and have some real conversations.”

You can get your free tickets for the Sydney event to hear Alan Crabbe, co-founder of Pozible share his insights on crowdfunding. It kicks off from 8.30am – 9.40am at Surry Hills Library and Community Centre.

Follow CreativeMornings Sydney on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with events, videos and announcements.
