Design & Thinking film

How do we fully engage organisations to think about the changing landscape of business, culture and society? What is design thinking? How is it applied in business models? How are people changing the world with their own creative minds?

Queensland is about to get its next dose of design in the form of the documentary Design & Thinking, screening on 19 and 20 September.

Earlier this year, Yuhsiu Yang and Melissa Huang of the Taipei Design Center U.S. teamed up with film makers Mu-Ming Tsai and Iris Lai of Muris Media to film the documentary. It explores the idea of ‘design thinking’ – a phrase which arose in order to explore what others consider ‘design’, to the thinking behind design. “Thinking is something you do first, and then you make,” says Paul Pangaron (CTO, cyberneticlifestyles.com) in Design & Thinking.
