desktop October is now on sale

desktop’s October issue (#276) is now on sale.

The desktop team is pleased to present the Qantm Create Design Awards issue. The issue showcases all of the winners and highly commended entries in the 2011 Awards, and includes an interview with the overall winner of Project of the Year. The Awards-themed cover is designed by paper engineer, Benja Harney.

The issue also introduces Kevin Finn’s graphic design trivia games, includes the story of Allen’s Sweets sign from Stephen Banham’s typography book, Characters (plus a pull-out poster of the sign) and presents advice from creative business advisor, Jo-anne Hook.
