Field Trip returns to Sydney – smaller and better than ever!

Returning to Sydney for a 2013 victory lap is the Field Trip conference, and organisers promise that it will be be “just as great as our event last year, minus the small amount of fuck-up’s that you hopefully didn’t notice. In other words, a potentially life changing event.”

Each presenter has been carefully selected for a mix of their incredibly good-looks, presentation skills, and medium of work. Utilising some fancy audio/visual technology, you, the audience, will directly witness the creative process unfold through a series of presentations and performances, giving you direct insight into each individual’s practice. Performing live will be Chris Nielsen, Georgia Perry, Kate Banazi, WBYK, and Desktop’s own editor Heath Killen. Closing the day will be the Mixed Business group session. Moderated by your host, Jeremy Wortsman of The Jacky Winter Group and featuring all presenters from the day, Mixed Business covers a wide variety of industry-specific and business issues currently facing creatives in a range of disciplines.

This years Sydney event takes place on Friday the 30th of August at a brand new, smaller venue (yep, smaller – for a more intimate experience) called Monkey Baa.

Like the sands of time, speakers or times may have to change due to circumstances out of our control. Be sure to check this page prior to attending to confirm. The exact speakers and further detail on their talk will be announced on our various social media outlets so stay tuned.

Early bird tickets are on sale right now, and as the event is smaller this year, you’ll need to get in quick to avoid missing out!
