Art and mental health will come together this month at Golden the Exhibition, a one-night-only fundraiser event for Youth Mental Health Foundation headspace. Whilst art can be a great outlet for those carrying the weight of mental health issues, Golden the Exhibition will celebrate art and open discussion about the key issues affecting youth in our communities. Awareness and discussion are crucial factors in eliminating stigma from mental health issues and that is where the concept for the exhibition was conceived.

headspace believe in early intervention for youth’s who suffer from mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and substance abuse, which is why community support is so imperative. Encouraging open discussion and providing a platform for awareness is the core purpose of the event with the featured artists coming together to raise funds for the foundation and help to engage the community.
