Internet Week launches new brand identity

Creative brand agency Collins has produced a new brand identity and logo for Internet Week, a global platform that organises Internet Week New York and Internet Week Europe.
Designed by a team of three—Brian Collins, Dave Frankel and Ali Ring—the brand identity and logo reflect the unbarred and energetic nature of the two festivals. The new logo features a converging pair of 3D brackets, which, according to founder and chief designer Brian Collins, represents the limitless space in which Internet Week occurs, while providing an infinitely versatile creative template. The design of the logo is flexible to accommodate text and imagery.
The new logo is a progressive step from the pixelated pink heart of its previous logo. Managing Director of Internet Week, Allison Arden said, “Internet Week’s new brand identity reflects how far the festival has evolved since its launch in 2007.”
Internet Week New York will be organised in New York City from May 19–25; Internet Week Europe will take place in London from November 10–14, 2014.
