Bravo to our featured studio in February, StudioBrave, who have won an award in the Fedrigoni Top Applications Award in Italy (in the first year that the awards have been opened to international entrants). The awards are held annually and are only open to projects printed on Fedrigoni paper.
StudioBrave was recognised for its self-promotional piece Being Brave – a beautiful publication featuring recent studio projects. The project won the HP Indigo category, (dedicated to projects printed with HP Indigo digital printers) and was printed by Melbourne’s Bambra Press on Splendorgel.
“It was fantastic to receive such an award,’ said Tim Sutherland, creative director at StudioBrave. “We create these pieces to show our passion for design to potential customers, but you never think you’re going to win. We were surprised and obviously thrilled with the outcome.”
To further encourage local designers, and as a call for entries to enter into the next Top Application Awards, Spicers is bringing all of this year’s winning projects to Melbourne and Sydney for an exhibition of design and print in early May.
