Edward Cutting and Tin Nguyen of Tin&Ed have just launched a new website and updated their online portfolio with some new work. Splitting their portfolio between ‘commissions’ and ‘studio projects’, the duo have amalgamated their self-initiated experiments (like their abundant collection of experimental still-life shots) and their playful Instagram feed, together with their client work — a move that reiterates the connection between the client and the social life for this young, local studio.

You may remember we covered their Chet Faker still life album cover earlier this year, and their Lavazza collaboration not too long before it. New projects include a Tin&Ed X Adidas Stan Smith collaboration — a commemoration of the 2014 re-launch of the classic Adidas Stan Smith, their ‘Space Craft’ flags for the NGV’s immensely popular Melbourne Now exhibition, animations of relaxing fruit, and a peek at their work for upcoming Hungry For That publication.

Brought together, the studio’s work, client commissions and behind-the-scenes feed reinforces Tin&Ed’s particular belief that the display of the professional work they do for Qantas is as important as the process shots of unfinished work, which are just as important as a collection of pebbles they made at the beach on the weekend — Cutting and Nguyen’s practice is formed of all these activities, it prospers from them, and they want to share it with you.
