WIN: A trip for two to Field Trip
AUTHOR: Desktop
Field Trip is returning to Melbourne on Friday 12 April at ACMI, and we have two double passes to give away to some lucky commenters.
Developed in collaboration between Australian Infront and The Jacky Winter Group, the day-long creative event is designed to be a conference with a difference. Each presenter is tasked with dealing with a ‘brief’ live on stage and talking through the various highlights and challenges. This time around Eamon Donnelly, Oslo Davis, Madeleine Stamer, Luke Lucas and Ben Sanders will all be presenting, and a panel discussion called Mixed Business (moderated by host Jeremy Wortsman) will feature all presenters.
To win the tickets all you have to do is leave a comment below. You’ve only got two days to get in there though as the competition closes at midnight THIS THURSDAY 28 March. If you miss out, fear not as earlybird ticket prices will still be on sale until midnight on Monday 1 April.
*This competition is only open to residents of Australia, and does not include travel or accommodation expenses.

Innovation keeps the world turning “…the constant human striving to do things better, to make tools that are not only more efficient but also more beautiful, to explore not just environments but ideas, to struggle towards something not yet experienced.” (Macgregor, 2011)
As a junior creative this is a really interesting concept. Would love to attend.
To sit in front of and listen to a designer dictate their process is one thing, but to have them work through it live is such a unique opportunity. It would be nothing short of amazing!
Hello desktop thanks for keeping up the inspiration through allowing us to attend events we may not always get to go to otherwise! I’m a new graduate constantly trying to surround myself with inspiration in this tough break into the professional world of design. Cheers Nick
Brlliant! Last but hopefully not least!
Desktop, I’m just another comment, hoping to snag a ticket in this competition. I’ve never left the confines of my comment box, and would love to head out on a Field Trip with you to meet Melbourne’s creatives. My likes include debating the pros and cons of various issues within a limited number of characters, and I have to say, I am excellent at giving feedback. Fingers (or serifs) crossed! x
I would love to go! Need that motivation & inspiration
I’ve never been to a design conference and would love to go!

Loved the Sydney event, but there is always that Syd/Melb rivalry. No surprise that there is again, a great selection of artists!!
