Last Friday, desktop had the absolute pleasure of attending Melbourne’s Wired for Wonder; an innovative event series by Commonwealth Bank that brings together an impressive line-up of Australian and international thought-leaders to learn, connect and explore the concept of wonder.

Spanning across fields of business, technology, health, science and art, Wired for Wonder featured world-class, awe-inspiring speakers such as Nolan Bushnell (Technology Pioneer and author of the bestselling Finding the Next Steve Jobs), Hannah Fry (Mathematician and author of The Mathematics of Love) and Sam Gosling (Psychologist and author of Snoop: What Your Stuff Says About You); not to mention a series of interactive themed workshops and edible art installations. Without getting too deep into the details just yet, one thing can be said for sure; the conference blew our minds and sent our brains into a temporary reboot while we sort and process everything that we have just learned.

Watch this space for more details on what happened at the event.
