Women: Take On Design Talks

Aiming to broaden the social and cultural understanding of architectural design, the Australian Architecture Association has announced a series of talks focusing on women at the intersection of the arts and the design industry.

Women: Take On Design is set to run over four consecutive weeks and is designed to showcase contrasting aspects of design professions, emphasising the unique contributions women make to design.

Hosted at Object: Australian Centre for Design in Surry Hills Sydney, the talks feature collaborative design organisation Archrival on 18 July, award-winning sustainable architect Caroline Pidcock on 25 July, Head of Creative Learning at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney Heather Whitely-Robertson on 1 August, and interior designer, educator and writer Annalisa Capurro on 8 August.
