Anagrama’s balanced brand built on palindromic digits

With branding and packaging by Mexico’s Anagrama, Capicua specialises in creating organisation tools for activities that require planning. Its naming is inspired by the Spanish word describing a palindromic number, or a symmetrical number that remains the same when its digits are reversed — with reference to Capicua’s diverse assortment of planners, agendas, calendars that can “fulfil every personality type’s organisational needs.”

The studio explain, “Our branding proposal takes an initiative that visually reflects [a palindromic number] in a series of patterns and symmetrical forms that result in a sense of perfect order and cleanliness.” They continue to note, “Each piece is distinctive while maintaining friendly features that play with the assumed monotony of an organised lifestyle.”
