Contemporary Wool by Kustaa Saksi

Internationally-awarded graphic designer Kustaa Saksi experiments with a new medium and surreal themes in his latest artistic venture titled Hypnopompic. A collection of intricately detailed tapestries, Hypnopompic is based on the psychological state of fuzzy confusion that can occur when somewhere between dreaming and waking up to reality.

Saksi’s varied contemporary wool collection is made from a combination of mohair and alpaca, and produced using the Jacquard weaving technique.
