‘Designing For The Future’ Beyond the Pixels relaunch as BTP

In the pursuit of a simplified vision, Melbourne design practice Beyond the Pixels have re-branded as BTP. Building on their past, while confidently moving forward. Principal, Che Douglas says the re-brand reflects BTP’s belief “in better business through design.”

BTP has undergone a significant transformation in the past few years. This update helps reflect BTP’s position as industry leaders in the branding and digital spaces. They create, manage and enhance brands, while developing progressive digital strategies for their clients’ customer experiences across web, app and interface design.

The re-brand directly communicates the philosophies underpinning the practice. The bold Swiss style has been softened by a reduced type size and hand embossing which also personalises select items. Keaykolour, Strathmore and Tablex specialty paper stocks have been paired with PMS Black 7 and clear verko printing, resulting in a beautiful tactile finish across the entire stationery suite. The selected typeface for the identity system is ARS Maquette.

A culmination of over 25 years of design practice experience has lead them to industry awards and recognition for projects such as Patricia cafe, the 2012 Australian Design Biennale website and Starward Whisky.
