Just Another Agency rebrand

STUDIO:  Just Another Agency
DESIGNER(S):  Leisha Muraki
CLIENT:  Self-initiated

Only two years in, Just Another realised that it was much more than an agency, reaching further than artist representation and moving toward curation, event management, publication and soon… apparel. To embrace the new era Just Another needed a logo that could be as adaptive as its artists and new ventures.

A full set of uppercase letters were designed, allowing for multiple iterations of the brand. The biggest challenge was simplifying the older logo while keeping its brand equity. The rounded square, a constant shape in the Agency’s collateral, became inspiration for the typeface, through proportions and detail elements. Process included sketches, tracing, vectoring and later creating the logotype. The final letters are a monoline set with a low x-height, transitional proportions and exaggerated bracketed serifs to bring focus on the rounded square counters.
