Many Hands online gallery supporting art and social causes

Many Hands is an online art gallery and social enterprise with the mantra “Make art. By art. Do good.” and the aim of connecting artists, buyers and local causes by donating 50 per cent of the profit from each sale to a Melbourne cause.

The team, founded by creative consultant Joshua Lynch, has opened a Pozible campaign, with 50 per cent of the capital raised going to local charities In Our Own Words, Ondru and The Torch Project, and 50 per cent going towards the launch of Many Hands’ first art print series and online store, which includes a piece from desktop’s art director Dylan McDonough.

“We’re aware that the world is full of issues but we don’t know how much to give, or who to give to, or where our money is even going,” explains Lynch. “With Many Hands, we are making the giving process simple and rewarding, because it should be. We want to offer our generation the opportunity to make a difference simply by buying art. And by giving the incredible causes that we support a platform to show the impact they’ve made, we’re ensuring that they can engage future donors in a unique way. We want everyone to win.”

Artists will receive a 15 per cent commission from sales, with the remaining 35 per cent covers operation and expansion costs. Donating your clams to the campaign will get you digital wallpapers, launch tickets, t-shirts, prints and more.
