The new identity of The Royal Children’s Hospital is the result of a collaborative process with hospital management and the in-house design team, using interview and stakeholder engagement to ensure understanding by client and R-Co.

The design is both playful and sophisticated, reflecting children and quality of care within a parkland environment. The identity is supported by a comprehensive image system. Design thinking has been able to communicate the essence of The Royal Children’s Hospital in a respectful and meaningful way that engages with all audiences, at all levels.

The new identity is based upon a compelling central idea which integrates all architectural, interior, and media expressions. This provides a cohesive impression across all brand touch points and a consistent reinforcement of distinction.
