Adelaide Film Festival 2011

The fifth biennial BigPond Adelaide Film Festival [BAFF] will be held in South Australia, spilling out of cinemas, into galleries and screens, through the streets of Adelaide, onto the beach and even the kitchen as director Katrina Sedgwick serves up a brand new selection of cinematic treats for cinephiles. BAFF is an eleven day celebration of contemporary screen culture incorporating feature film, documentaries, shorts, video, online and new media screenings and installations.

The AFF not only showcases the best of international screen culture but also invests in new and exciting Australian films through its investment arm. In previous years, these have included Samson & Delilah, Look Both Ways and Ten Canoes. The 2011 festival will world premiere their new slate of 15 dynamic, original Australian works – seven feature films, five shorts and three cross platform works from both emerging and established Australian practitioners.

Be there when history happens!
