Inspired by nature

Based in Canberra, Paul Krix designs objects that are heavily influenced by the forces that form the natural natural world – from the growth of mineral crystals to the patterns that leaf veins form on a biological level.

His practice creates forms that are aesthetically directed by these patterns, often digitally reproducing the processes that form them in code and applying them to abstract and artificial environments.
